The İncekum Picnic Area, located at kilometer 26 of the Antalya–Alanya route within the borders of Avsallar, is a natural wonder. The region has a rare topography where sea and forest ecosystems intertwine. The pine forest that runs right down to the water's edge makes this one of the shadiest and coolest beaches on the Alanya coastline.

The forest area right behind the beach was granted Nature Park status in 2013, which strictly limits development and has largely preserved the natural landscape. Because fine quartz sand absorbs less sunlight, sand temperatures here stay lower than at most Mediterranean beaches even at midday, keeping barefoot walks comfortable all day long.

Where Is It and How to Get There?

İncekum sits 22 km from central Alanya and roughly 70 km from Antalya Airport. It's located within Avsallar, right on the D-400 highway, and is clearly signposted.

By car, you can reach it directly via the D-400; there's a parking area right next to the entrance gate. For visitors without a car, dolmuş minibuses heading to Avsallar from the Alanya bus station stop at the İncekum sign; from there it's just a 5-minute walk to the beach entrance.

İncekum Beach Entrance Fee 2026

İncekum is a Nature Park managed by the General Directorate of Forestry, and entry is charged. The tariff is revised at the start of each season; the figures below are reference values based on the official 2025 season tariff:

As the site does not have museum status, the Müzekart is not valid here. The entry fee covers use of the beach and access to the green areas; sunbeds and parasols are charged separately.

Payment is made at the entrance. In peak season (July-August) vehicle capacity can fill up on weekend afternoons, so an early morning arrival is recommended.

Is Camping and Picnicking Allowed?

As its name suggests, the İncekum Picnic Area is specifically designed for picnics. Spacious picnic areas fitted with tables and benches are spread throughout the forest.

During periods of high forest-fire risk (July-August), grilling areas may be temporarily closed; check for current notices before visiting. Trash containers are available throughout the picnic area, and leaving the area as you found it matters for preserving the region's natural landscape.
